A virtual cultural centre, student camps and an electronic album of the cultural values of the shared Carpathians, built by students of technical universities.

RoUaTADRI - Cross-border academic development for research and innovation
The project that created the Centre for Innovative Development in Baia Mare: CNC machines, 3D printer and scanner, VR glasses, robotic arm, humanoid robot and bionic hand.

International workshop in Rzeszów, Poland
Between 13–17 July 2026, ATEd representatives took part in the international workshop "Understanding Cross-Border Practices in Modern Design and Modeling Tools" at Rzeszów University of Technology.

Students from "George Barițiu" Technological High School Baia Mare visited the new CAD/CAM laboratory at UTCN-NUCBM for a hands-on training session.

Student camp in Maramureș
A week of traditional craft workshops in Maramureș, closing with an intercultural festival: pottery, beadwork, pies, folk dances and traditional cooking.

Maramureș dishes cooked by the students in a wood-fired oven and over open fire, documented for the project's cuisine guide.

Folk dance workshops
Traditional Romanian and Ukrainian dances, taught to each other by students from both countries and performed at the intercultural festival.
