Conferences

Starting in 2015 and until now, IIS has taken place every year, in different locations. In 2015 and 2016 the conference was held in Baia Mare, its debut location. In 2017 it was organised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the University of Business Engineering and Management Banja Luka. In 2018 and 2019 it returned to the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca - North University Center of Baia Mare, and from 2020 onwards it took place at the Independent University Banja Luka. In 2026 it returns to Baia Mare.

The partner universities of the conference are: the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca - North University Center of Baia Mare, the University of Business Engineering and Management Banja Luka, the Independent University Banja Luka, the University of Applied Sciences Kempten, the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, the Rzeszow University of Technology and Mississippi State University.

The conference addresses topics in: electrical and power engineering, applied mathematics, computer engineering, fundamental sciences, industrial applications, mechanical engineering, materials science, energy and environmental sciences.
