Educational robotic arm

A first contact with industrial robot programming: kinematics, trajectories, gripping and handling, on a laboratory-scale machine.

Location
Baia Mare, Maramureș - Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Centre

The educational robotic arm is the bridge between the theory in the lecture hall and the industrial robot on the factory floor. It has the same programming logic, but at a scale where you can make mistakes without consequences.

What is learned on it

  • Direct and inverse kinematics
  • Defining and programming trajectories
  • Gripping and handling objects
  • Integration with sensors and other equipment in the cell
  • Industrial robot programming - one of the training courses in the ATEd project

Who uses it

Engineering students, high school pupils during training activities, and participants in the professional training courses. It is one of the most frequently requested pieces of equipment during group visits.
